Get ready for the Malta Adventure 2027 — a once-in-a-lifetime international expedition bringing together 30 Scouts and Explorers for an unforgettable week of discovery, challenge, and adventure in the heart of the Mediterranean!
Over seven action-packed days, our group will immerse themselves in the Maltese way of life, learning about the island’s rich history, vibrant culture, and unique Scouting traditions. Camping with local Scouts and sharing experiences around the campfire, this trip promises new friendships and lasting memories.
Adventure awaits on land and sea — with sea kayaking along Malta’s stunning coastline, swimming in crystal-clear waters, and island-hopping to Gozo and Comino, home of the famous Blue Lagoon. Whether it’s discovering hidden caves, trying local cuisine, or taking part in community projects, every day will bring something new.

Who is our Maltese partnership with?
Iklin Scout Group – Our young members embark on journeys and adventures filled with unforgettable experiences, and the chance to make friends. Together, we create lifetime memories. We form part of the Malta Scout Association and was established in 2001.
We have close ties with the scouts of Malta as in 2015 we took our Scouts and Explorers to Malta, then in 2016 the Maltese Scouts came over to the UK and spent a week with us here at Patshull Activity Centre. The Group Lead Volunteer is called Emanuel, he was part of both of these amazing experiences.
What will the adventure cost and how will we fund this?
The trip will cost between £900-£1200. This is varied currently due to the fluctuating costs of flights, coaches ( in the UK and Malta ). Once we have final costs closer to the trip we will publish this to the participants.
Funding for the adventure will be down to the individual however we will do fundraising events and will apply for grants to help us personally pay the least possible.
There will be camps and activity days to create a bond between the participants and the leadership team, these will be an additional cost.
